Gasland Debuts on HBO - A MASTERPIECE! ON ALL WEEK ON HBO DOCUMENTARIES
Gasland debuted tonight on HBO - a gripping personal piece of cinematography. Josh Fox ever so gently rends the veil of secrecy cloaking natural gas production revealing a starkly different picture of the "clean" fuel. Told through the poignant voices of solid American citizens living in the shadow of gas wells, Fox's lens leads the viewer from the innocence of ignorance to the shattering reality of gas production and the devastation and pollution it leaves behind. This is a must see film! It will have showings on HBO all this week. Seek your carrier to try to get a free trial of HBO if you don't already have it. THIS IS A GREAT FILM!

BP's Deception - The Plot Thickens
BP filed an extremely chequered and deceptive disaster plan to the United States government for the Deepwater well. A scientist who died in 2005, supposedly signed off on this plan which was filed in 2009. He listed many sea animals who don't even live in the Gulf which shades this story with the brush of deception. The disaster plan understated the risks and greatly overstated BP's ability to deal with a blow-out. There were many false statements that warrant further investigation. See whole story below:

DISH Texas Well Water Contaminated!!!
DISH, Texas family noticed their water changed after the gas company finished fracking. Grey silt deposits were left behind after tubs were drained. The family used bottled water for drinking and cooking, but still bathed in the questionable water. The family bought a filtration system at a local home improvement center and noticed the filters were caked with residue. They had their water tested with an independent consultant and were shocked by the results: the water was contaminated with acetone and butanone above the legal limit. Other state tests indicated their water had levels of lead and arsenic above the legal limits. Water wells in Arkansas have experienced the same symptoms after fracking. What is in our water?
