Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission Emergency Meeting Stuns Concerned Citizens with its brevity. Five minutes?
The Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission called for an emergency meeting to shut down two injection wells because of a suspected link to earthquake activity. Many concerned citizens took off time from their jobs and traveled great distances to attend. The AOGC meeting only lasted 5 MINUTES!!! Media and citizens were stunned and glanced around at each other for answers. Citizens voiced their anger and outrage over the abuses of shale gas production.
